I think we can only truly know the heart of a card or archetype when we are ready, when our consciousness is cooked enough for us to comprehend the deepest meaning. Our consciousness is shaped by experience both from the physical world and the unseen realm so it is quite fitting that Judgement is a tough cookie to get to know as we surely must have had to live a little in order to know what it is to work on the self and to be released from the chains of everyday trivialities. Here we see that we are part of a greater whole, we have learned to bounce back, we are becoming acquainted with our core self. From old pain bursts forth new life, our resurrection is assured and with this, realisation of our eternal spirit and our contribution to the collective destiny.
We are required to (lovingly) view our own life and to own it yet at the same time life is asking ‘well, what do you want, do you know? If you don’t then how can the universe conspire with you to get all that you deserve and more?’
A revelation, an awakening, the trumpet heralds the wake up call that will put us in a position of responsibility for our destiny. That call which allows us to see where we are heading if we remain on a certain path and how we in fact flow along (or not) with others and how our actions interface with that of others.
In Judgement we see the cosmos, the inspirers, guides and angelic messengers directing us towards that which can’t be seen or touched but takes the faith of a warrior to observe it.
Archangel Israfil calls us near, we are asked to connect with Ontos Theos, the God-Being which impacts on the community as a whole, are we listening? I doubt it! It is unlikely that we recognise our light even less do we see that our light is a credible gift of love from above into the world. We can’t find the key for spiritual renewal nor can we accept the power of the higher self in very real terms.
This card could be telling us that its flip side is dangerous in the extreme. It speaks of the necessity to take time and consider situations, that our actions require forethought and our moral compass is not doing its thing! To be impetuous is only any good if it leads us somewhere. The fire in the belly is only a drive for good if it is attached to our will which in itself needs a target.
Denial is a distraction. Personal power is either to be avoided or can be used to summon up a community of screaming demons which having resided deep within but now take form in the real world.
Judgement asks us to build communities, to network, to be part of a living, breathing movement. It is about mobilising people for a purpose, is that purpose for the greater good?
We are being advised not to take things for granted. Our life lessons are for a reason. That choice that was never taken, a hope that had so much promise but was denied, a health issue that was forgotten, a purpose without meaning or clarity, a transformation that was blocked.
Mass rallies are opposing all that is wrong and crooked. This is a good thing but the underbelly could emerge and it is our presence of mind and spirit that will keep things on an even keel. Can we stand as an individual in the face of collective bias? It is imperative that we act with integrity even in the face of threat and danger.
We can draw upon the experiences of mindless adulation in the Nuremberg rallies, the Apartheid marches, the strikes of the 70s in the north of England, we can learn that being a good orator is one thing, to mobilise a million people is a gift but to what end?
Judgement in shadow reminds us that it is an illusion that we might know more than anyone else and to be beyond criticism. Judgement puts us on a path that is right for us but we might have to bend a bit to go with it.
I haven’t done this for a while so I thought I would draw a card for the collective tribe!
Today be grounded. Money matters spring to the fore and it could be that you will devise a plan to make sure your money stretches!
You are possibly thinking about what you need to do to maximise your economic potential; keep your ideas in alignment with your reality and all will be well.
If you are thinking about changing your job or working for yourself then the next few weeks will be crucial and possibly hold opportunities for moving forward.
Try not to be so busy that you lose touch with your emotions, someone could be counting on your affection or reassurance.
Abundance is assured in all areas of life especially as a result of effort and energy.
